Tests with a clinical purpose

Diagnostics and check-ups in Israel

An effective diagnostic programme begins with a clear medical question. Tests should be selected according to symptoms, age, history and existing findings rather than assembled as the largest possible package.

When diagnostics may be useful

  • Clarifying an uncertain or complex diagnosis.
  • Reviewing pathology or imaging before treatment.
  • Investigating persistent symptoms.
  • Assessing treatment response or planning a procedure.
  • Building an age- and risk-appropriate preventive check-up.

What to prepare

Send previous reports, imaging conclusions, pathology, laboratory results, current medicines and the main clinical question. Repeating recent tests may be unnecessary unless quality, timing or the required protocol is insufficient.

Check-up limitations

A check-up cannot rule out every disease and should not replace evaluation of active symptoms. New, severe or rapidly worsening symptoms require prompt local medical care.
