Choosing a care setting
Hospitals and clinics in Israel
Israeli medical centres differ by specialty, technology, physician teams and access conditions. The best-known institution is not automatically the best match for every case.
How a medical centre is selected
- Experience with the specific diagnosis or procedure.
- Availability of the required multidisciplinary team.
- Diagnostic and treatment technology needed for the case.
- Timing, admission criteria and physician availability.
- Whether outpatient, inpatient or rehabilitation care is required.
Public hospitals and private care
Care may be provided in a large public medical centre, a specialist institute or an appropriate private setting. The suitable option depends on the clinical task and cannot be determined from price or reputation alone.
What can be confirmed in advance
After a records review, we can clarify the proposed specialist or department, preliminary scope, organisational terms and which documents must be brought. The final plan may change after examination or additional testing.
