Costs of diagnosis and treatment in Israel

“How much will treatment cost?” is often the first practical question. A useful answer depends on what the patient actually needs: the same diagnosis can lead to very different tests, procedures, medicines and lengths of stay.

What affects the cost

  • Specialist and multidisciplinary consultations.
  • Pathology or imaging review.
  • Required laboratory and diagnostic tests.
  • Procedure complexity, anaesthesia and hospital stay.
  • Medicines, implants and disposable materials.
  • Rehabilitation and follow-up needs.

Read an estimate line by line

A clear estimate should separate physician, hospital, diagnostic and medication fees. It should also show what is included, what remains optional, which items may change after examination, the currency used and the payment terms.

Why a diagnosis alone is not enough for a fixed price

New findings can change both the treatment plan and the cost. We first review enough records to understand the likely route, then check appointments and organisational terms. The initial estimate is a planning document, not a promise that the clinical scope will remain unchanged.

Ask for a case-based estimate

Send the diagnosis, recent reports and the specific consultation, test or treatment you are considering. We will explain what can be estimated now and what still requires medical review.
